Ingredients:
6 slices of your favorite Bread (I use Challah bread  from Hot Bread Kitchen but, any thick bread will do)
2 cups Coconut Milk
2 tbsp Coconut Spread
¼ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp All Spice
¼ tsp Nutmeg
2 tbsp Apple Butter
1 tbsp Arrowroot Powder
½ Green Apple (for garnish)

Directions:
In a pan, melt the coconut spread. Remove the pan from heat so that the excess coconut spread does not burn. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, pour coconut milk and the melted coconut spread. Whisk in cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, apple butter and arrowroot powder.

Reheat the pan you used to melt the coconut spread on a medium heat (lower the flame if smoking occurs). Dip both sides of a sliced bread into your French toast mix and place the slice into the hot pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, making sure that each side is golden brown (depending on stove you can reduce cooking time to 3 minutes if the bread is browning quickly). Slice green apple and add as a garnish. Serve hot with your favorite maple syrup or jam.
